Fellowship in Training (FIT) Membership

The Pennsylvania Society of Gastroenterology (PSG) is here as a dynamic resource to help advance your professional development in all stages and aspects of your career. When you become a PSG Fellow in Training (FIT) member, you receive immediate value for your investment of time and talent including complimentary registration for our annual
conference that offers at least 10 hours of CME.

Member Benfits

Exclusively for GI Fellows

  • No charge for membership - dues for GI fellows is $0

  • Annual Meeting Financial Assistance: Travel stipends are offered for fellows attending the annual meeting. The meeting is a good opportunity to meet other GI fellows in a relaxed and social atmosphere at a welcoming venue. Bring your S.O. or family!

  • Cash Awards are provided for the best annual meeting poster presentation ($500 first prize, $300 second prize, $200 third prize)

  • Job search: Network with practices and GI physicians in Pennsylvania and West Virginia that are hiring

  • Networking: Build professional contacts with other GI fellows and practicing gastroenterologists in both academic and non-academic GI practices. Create mentorship opportunities regarding the “business of medicine”

  • Courses: Educational Webinars, and when COVID conditions permit, in-person courses
