Timeline
- 6/30/22 – 8/1/22: Upload your poster submission using the following online abstract registration form
- Membership application deadline: 8/1/22
- Week of 8/22/22: You will be notified regarding the acceptance of your poster abstract
- Register for the PSG Annual Scientific Meeting, meeting registration link
- Make room reservation at The Hotel Hershey. Booking website.
- The PSG room block closes on Friday, August 12. Please be sure to make your reservations before this date. The hotel has a 72-hour cancellation policy, should your itinerary change.
- Set up your poster display on Friday, 9/9/22 at 6 pm or Saturday, 9/10/22 between 6 am–7 am: in the East Foyer
- 9/10-11/22: Posters will be judged during session breaks
- Authors are responsible for preparing their poster for display. In order to qualify for the travel stipend and awards, authors must accompany their poster during the judging period, all breakfast periods and breaks. You should be present for the entire meeting.
- 9/11/22 at 12:40 pm: Awards Presentation
- 9/11/22: Dismantle your poster display by 11:30 am
Poster Elements to Include
Abstract: Succinctly summarize the hypothesis (es) of the study, as well as the rationale, methods, results, and conclusions. The abstract, prepared in large typescript, should be posted in the upper left corner of the poster space. Abstracts must not exceed one page.
Introduction or Objectives: State the hypothesis(es) being tested and briefly present the rationale and significance of the research.
Methods: Sufficiently describe the research methods so that the viewer can understand your research efforts. Explain what was measured here and/or in the results section of the poster. Define abbreviations.
Results: Use graphs, tables, and figures to present the major findings. Present the results of any statistical tests that you used. Disclose any limitations on data, for example, ongoing research, interim analysis, or preliminary data.
Discussion and/or Conclusions: Discuss the implications of your results and/or list the major conclusions.
